Stedelijk Waterfalls CS at Stedelijk Museum CS

In 2006, the exhibition “Just in Time” took place at the Stedelijk Museum CS. This acquisitions show consisted of artworks selected by an international jury following an open call. In the exhibition, next to the piece I showed, titled “SSS – Shore Scene Soundtrack,” I proposed an intervention titled “SWCS – Stedelijk Waterfalls CS.”

COME TO STEDELIJK

I’ll be participating

Just In Time. Municipal Art Acquisitions
at Stedelijk Museum CS, Amsterdam, Netherlands
1.12.06 – 11.03.07

I’ll install Stedelijk Waterfall, Shore Scene Soundtrack and a new piece.

“The annual Municipal Art Acquisitions exhibitions allow for an overview of cultural activity in Amsterdam, in terms of visual art, photography, design and applied arts.
Each year one or a combination of disciplines is central to the exhibition. Work from the show is selected and acquired for the Stedelijk Museum collection.

In 2006 the set-up and organization of the Municipal Art Acquisitions has changed with the introduction of a guest curator. The guest curator formulates a concept for the exhibition and, together with the jury which also includes a curator from the Stedelijk Museum, realizes the show. This year the Stedelijk Museum invited Maxine Kopsa, freelance curator and associate editor of the contemporary art magazine Metropolis M, as guest curator. She will curate the show entitled Just In Time.

Will Holder is responsible for the graphic design.”
