The collection presentation ‘Museum in Motion – A Collection for the 21st Century,’ which includes Bergama Stereo – Berlin Fragment (2019-2024), opened on Thursday, September 5th, in the Rieckhallen at Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart. Other artists whose artworks are featured in the exhibition include Elmgreen & Dragset, Manaf Halbouni, Anne Imhof, Maurizio Nannucci, Ricarda Roggan, Jeremy Shaw, Jasmin Werner, David Zink Yi. The installations in the Bergama Stereo series were previously presented at the Ruhrtriennale in Bochum (2019), Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart in Berlin (2019/20), Arter in Istanbul (2020/21), the 2nd Bergama Theater Bergama Tiyatro Festivali in Bergama (2021), and the Singapore Biennale (2022/23). Monitor, invited to the eighth Çanakkale Biennial to be held between October 1st and November 5th, 2022, brings together Liliya Lifanova and Cevdet Erek in the exhibition titled What grows where it flows. The exhibition, which will take place at the Mekor Hayim Synagogue that is open for worship only on certain days of the year, is shaped by the source of life with an inspiration to the name of the place.
